Bobby Bandiera has a time machine and he’s bringing it to the Stone Pony South Side on Saturday June 26th.

The show in the Pony’s new beer garden is part of a 10th anniversary celebration of the Asbury Park Music Foundation. Bandiera’s Time Machine will perform music from the past four decades. If you donate $ 250 or more to APMF, Bandiera, who has performed with Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen and more, will play your song and scream at you on stage.

Email [email protected] or more information on Time Machine song requests. Tickets for the show, $ 39 and up, are available through stoneponyonline.com.

Asbury Park Music Foundation programs include Music Saved My Life, run in partnership by APMF, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County and the town’s Lakehouse Music Academy. The program uses music and video projects to teach children about media production skills and the value of teamwork. In 2019, APMF was named one of four recipients of the 2019 Impact 100 Jersey Coast High Impact Grants in the amount of $ 110,000. The grant funded a new Music Business and Technology Youth program, an extension of Music Saved My Life.

A new scholarship recently created in the name of Tom Gilmour, the first president of the APMF, by members of his family will allow students of Asbury Park to study music. This is the Thomas Gilmour Music Saved My Life scholarship.
