The emblem uses the color of the flag of Qatar – brown and white.

Qatar also unveiled its FIFA World Cup 2022 brown (home) and white (away) jerseys. Qatar kick off the World Cup with their Group A match against Ecuador on November 20.

The jerseys were designed by global sporting goods giant Nike.

Nike said on its website: “The Qatari home kit combines desert brown with a white jagged border to reflect the Qatari flag. The crest on the upper chest highlights Qatar’s host nation status. The away kit evokes the coastline of Qatar while a subtle pearl necklace graphic overlay nods to the history of scuba diving in the coastal atolls.
