SPRINGFIELD, NJ – Harvard Women’s Golf is back in action in Springfield, New Jersey, competing in the Ivy Intercollegiate Tournament hosted by Columbia, Princeton and Yale. The event will take place at Baltusrol Golf Club from October 10-11.
12 schools will participate in the tournament, including Clemson University, Columbia University, Dartmouth College, Florida State University, University of Miami, University of North Carolina, North Carolina State University, University of Notre Dame, University of Pennsylvania, Princeton University and Yale. University.
The format of this tournament is a bit different from a normal tournament. On Monday, the 12 teams will play 36 continuous holes, after which a team and an individual champion will be named. On Tuesday there will be an 18-hole individual match play competition between the Ivy League and the ACC. Monday’s top ACC finisher will face the best Ivy, #2 ACC vs. #2 Ivy, and more. One point will be earned for each competition and the league with the most points awarded will be declared the winner.

- Harvard has finished in the top two in its two previous tournaments this year.
- Charissa Shang led the way for the Crimson in their last tournament, the Princeton Invitational, tied for fourth in the tournament with a 1 under par score.
The Crimsons travel to Rehobeth Beach, Delaware to participate in the University of Delaware Lady Blue Hen Invitational from October 15-16.
